Our federation was founded in 1986. It’s headquarters s in 28^th Ithakis street.

Nowdays, our members are about 750, 250 of them are dancers.

There are 8 dancing classes (three children groups, teen group, youth group and three adult groups).

There is also a mixed choir of adults, a class of learning musical instruments for children and a class of painting for children, too.

Through this website, we desire to promote the folkway and the customs, the tradition and the valiance of our country.

We hope through our website to start communication with other cultural federations not only in Greece but also around the world exchanging ideas.

We have taken part in a lot of events both in Greece and aboard in Hungary, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Poland and Samsun of Turkey are some of the countries we have visited.

The regular events at our Federation are: 

1. “Ilioupolitika”: three-day happenings during June
2.  Several pageants during March
3. Annual Ball
4. Christmas Bazaar and dancing
5. Christmas theatrical performance from our children and feast
6. “Choral meeting”
7.  Participation in most of the cultural events of our municipality. (Parades, shows, etc)
8. Activities such as trips, blood donations, seminars, etc.
